Aurukun Mural Project

The Aurukun Mural Project is a film developed to inspire youth and community into social activities to address wellbeing. This promotes community aspirations into positive outcomes to support youth to reflect expression of community life.

These types of film productions are targeted around supporting health and education initiatives, and is based on delivering practical programs that support community projects instigated by government agencies and community development organizations.

The Aurukun Mural film was done to support the Creative Recovery project, to give young Indigenous boys a social wellbeing exercise by painting a large Mural on the wall of the community shop.
